Bruce Vilanch, Nikki Blonsky, Wilson Cruz, Jai Rodriguez, Thea Gill and Michelle Clunie were among the celebrities who joined the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation ( GLAAD ) as it honored Cybill Shepherd, Lee Daniels, entrepreneur Robert Hanson and the best in documentaries and journalism recently at the 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards presented in San Francisco by Southwest Airlines. Shepherd's daughters, Clementine Ford ( who is dating music figure Linda Perry ) and Ariel Shepherd-Oppenheim, presented her with the Golden Gate Award. Actor Jensen Atwood presented Precious director Daniels with the Davidson/Valentini Award. Hanson, president of Levi Strauss Americas, received the San Francisco Local Hero Award.
